my ideal life......☁

Today, I want to mess around with thesaurus and make myself seems smart because of my extensive grammar and my unique choice of word. And what would be the best content to write with prodigious words rather than my ideal life?

My house, my humble abode. 🏡

After the van that fetches you halted to a stop, the first thing you lay your eyes on is an outlandish medium-sized cottage, fringed with alders and hydrangea, "It's my favorite flower! Pink for heartfelt emotion, purple for the desire to understand, and gratitude in general." was the response you got when you briefly asked the owner why there was an abundance of hydrangea bordering the garden. There was a small brook right before the gate with water so clear you can see the colorful rock at the bottom.

The house is made from brick, you thought. However, the only kind of brick you were acquainted was red, so amidst of marveling at the hydrangea, you made another passing comment about how you have not in any way encounter a whiter brick, "We white-washed it!" the owner said, "It was a labor of love, but it was worth it."

After giving the last glance toward the vibrant hydrangea, you usher yourself in, taking off your shoes before you enter. And when you lift your eyes from the shoe rack, you witness a mismatched couch and loveseat.

Both the couch and the loveseat sports a dimple, a sign that the furniture is loved, and everyone in the house lounge there habitually. The owner must have spent all of her time rewatching The Last Airbender on that side of the couch. The thought made your smile lines showed up unexpectedly.

The Persian rug is warm. It was a pleasant change from the frosty hardwood flooring. And the warmth also stops you from feeling disappointed you did not listen to your mother about how you should wear socks.

The owner retorts something to you, but you were too engrossed, trying not to acknowledge how the wind nipped your skin, the cold wasn't unpleasant, it was the perfect weather to just curl up and be cozy. "Would you close the window, please?" was apparently what the owner said after you asked her to repeat what she said.

When you strut to the window, that's when you noticed the reading nook, cluttered with a post-it and handmade bookmarks, colorful pens scattered right under the comfiest looking rocking chair you've ever seen you almost forgot to close the window because all you can think is the overwhelming urge to sink yourself into the chair. The gigantic bookshelf stood proudly just below the window, filled with trinkets and books you recognize as the one your friend, the owner, used to rant on her Instagram account all the time.

The house smells like something sweet. But laughter was what greeted you when you asked what is currently baking. "Mix of candle and reed diffuser, both in vanilla, to be exact." was the answer you got after the third round of laughter.

Still trying to swallow her laughter, the owner proposes to show you her vegetable garden. But the cold weather and the comforting scent of vanilla make the couch seems extra inviting, added with the warmth when your feet collide with the rug makes it harder to say yes to the offer.

So you plopped down, next to the lovely dimple, with a promise for a garden tour inside your sleeve.

That is it for the first part! I don't think I used enough prodigious words nor do I write really well. But writing down my daydream is surprisingly exciting and heart throbbing. and I can't wait to write more of this.

FFOTD (Fun Fact Of The Day): I told my brother I am having so much fun and he just looked at me like I was a super weird person and this is also my first time writing this kind of stuff, okay, bye.
