a few korean drama recommendation from a veteran viewers 😎

Honestly speaking, I can't really call myself a veteran on this Korean drama avid viewers community. But, ever since I was a kid I got exposed to it because my mother and her sisters love Korean drama, so that would mean I have been watching Korean drama for a long time right? If you don’t think so then let's just conclude that the title is a clickbait. Sorry not sorry 😜 Without more rambling let's just dive into the recommendation!

✨ The Heirs (when a CEO son fell in love with the children of his maid) (Lol, yes, even the way I describe it is kind of cliche)

Starring Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye as the main character, this drama became a very big hit both in Korea and internationally, I would even say that at that time this drama was as big or even bigger as Sky Castle and The World of The Married, just in case any new Korean drama viewers need another drama to compare. This is actually the first drama that I watch on my own, and I was a pre-teen, pretty sure it was in my last year of middle school, and at that time this drama was very emotional for me.

a moment that is cringe-worthy but fun to watch

Is it clichΓ©? Yes. Would you be able to guess the ending? Yes. Is it cringy? Now that I look back, 100% Yes. But it is cute, and funny and sad  *spoiler alert* there was a  scene where Lee Min Ho cried and my middle school self cried along with him.πŸ˜… Overall, it was a nice drama, I mean surely it got tons of popularity because it was good (and maybe because almost all of the cast was famous. My friends and I always call this drama as the door to our obsession with Korean drama, and with that being said. Watch it!

✨ Goblin (when the sinful 939 years old goblin meet his wife that could make him die, basically)

Goblin would always be my all-time favorite Korean drama, and I would be biased because I am a huge fan of Kim Go Eun. But, even when I am not a fan of Kim Go Eun, I still would love this drama and praise it as much as this drama deserves it.

nope, there's no love triangle. sorry to disappointπŸ˜€

If I have to sum up this drama into one word, I would choose πŸ’•bittersweetπŸ’• as the word that perfectly describes it. Without realizing it, the moment that I watched this I signed up to hop on an emotional rollercoaster ride, and meanwhile it gets tiring I still would watch this over and over and over again. And besides the main couple, the supporting couple relationship was also very interesting to watch.

OH, I almost forget to mention....there is one poem in the drama that I cherish because it is beautiful! And the official soundtrack is amazing. Even if you are not planning to watch Goblin, go ahead and listen to Hush by Lasse Lindh in the morning with your cup of beverages. This drama definitely is a must-watch! It has the perfect amount of cheesiness, cuteness, and warmth. Did I mention that sometimes its also a tearjerker?

✨ Hospital Playlist (when a group of doctors multitasks as a group of crackhead)

also a crackhead in real life....

The first and second drama that I recommend was quite an old one because both of the drama was released around 4-6 years ago and there has been a lot of good dramas that aired after that. And even though The World of The Married I would say gain a lot more popularity rather than Hospital Playlist, I would choose this drama to recommend to you.

Because I, in fact, did not watch The World Of Married (it is too mature for me I do not like it), and even though this is a subjective recommendation I still want to be somewhat credible. Lol. Hospital playlist is actually produced by the same producer that created the amazing Reply series, and Hospital Playlist was made with a similar vibe with Prison Playbook (also produced by the same person)
The main goals of this series are to show people, the daily life of a doctor, but in this case "the daily life of a group of friends that are all doctor"

The reason why this drama become one of my favorites is honestly because of the storyline. Mostly, dramas have a very strict "black and white" character and if the antagonist did something bad, the protagonist would save the day. It doesn't work that way in this drama, because life would be the one that teaches the antagonist a lesson.

Family love, friendships, unconditional love, and happiness? You are missing out if you do not watch it!

I actually have watched a lot more Korean dramas besides those three, if I have the time maybe I would do another recommendation list slash review, but, if you actually watch the drama that I recommend and you need more, below this paragraph I would try my best to describe dramas that I have watched with only three emojis.

1. Pinocchio πŸ‘ƒπŸ‘«πŸ˜―
2. The Legend of The Blue Sea πŸ‘€πŸ’§πŸ’₯
3. Descendants of The Sun πŸ’£πŸ’ͺ😷
4. It's Okay It's Love πŸ’“πŸ‘πŸ˜’ (one of my fav)
5. You Are All Surrounded πŸ’₯πŸ˜ŽπŸ’¨

If you managed to come across this blog, comment on your favorite dramas! I will make sure to watch it in my leisure time.
